Information We Collect
SpeakDaily may collect the following types of information, depending on how you use the app:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and account identifier when you create an account or sign in.
- Learning activity, such as lessons completed, vocabulary practice, game results, achievements, streaks, level, language preferences, and progress history.
- Purchase information, such as your SpeakDaily Plus subscription status and purchase validation information handled through Google Play Billing.
- Device and app information, such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash reports, diagnostics, performance data, and general usage events.
- Support information, such as your email address and the message content you send when you contact support.
- Microphone or audio information only if you choose to use a speaking or pronunciation feature that requires microphone access. SpeakDaily does not use microphone access in the background.
SpeakDaily does not require access to your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, precise location, health data, or files unrelated to the learning features of the app.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve SpeakDaily, including to:
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Save lessons, streaks, achievements, progress, and app preferences.
- Provide vocabulary, grammar, games, and daily learning features.
- Process and verify SpeakDaily Plus subscriptions through Google Play.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems.
- Improve app quality, performance, security, and reliability.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized use of the app.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transmission where supported, access controls, and trusted service providers. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and learning progress information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide SpeakDaily. We may keep limited records for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, and support purposes.
You may request deletion of your account or personal information by visiting our Delete Account page or by contacting support@speakdaily.app. After a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal information unless we need to retain certain information for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.
Children's Privacy
SpeakDaily is intended for general English learning and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at support@speakdaily.app so we can review and delete it where required.
Your Choices
You can choose not to provide certain information, but some app features may not work without it. You can manage app permissions, such as microphone access, in your Android device settings. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
